Details on Choose Color

Information about the Choose Color dialog in the Configuration of LINEAR Building.

Allows you to assign individual colors to different elements. You can specify colors by clicking a color field and typing in the field Color: or by using the ByLayer or ByBlock buttons to specify that the used color of the layer or block will be applied.

Color palette

Standard colors, grey tones, complete color palette

Define the desired color by clicking the desired color field. The Color: field then displays the color name or CAD color number of the selected color.

Color allocation

Allows you to apply the color of the layer (ByLayer) or block (ByBlock), for drawn elements. The selected setting is then displayed in the field Color:.

Color:

Displays the color name or CAD color number when selecting a color from the color palettes and allows to specify colors by entering the color name or CAD color number. You can select the colors red, yellow, green, cyan, blue, magenta and white by color name if you enter the color name in lower case.

If a color allocation is selected, the name of the color allocation is displayed in the field. You can also select a color allocation by typing in the field, entering the name of the color allocation in capital letters.
