Designing and Configuring Feed-In Points in Pipe Routes

Shows step by step how to equip the technical center with a feed-in point for determining route dimensions based on room data and space requirements.

  1. Open the Feed and Transfer area.

  2. Place a feed point (Partial Network Start Feed-In Point) at the beginning of the route in the equipment room.

  3. Switch to the Analysis tab and select System Assignment....

  4. Select the feed-in point in the model.

    The Feed-In Point dialog opens.

  5. Enter a Name for the feed-in point.

  6. Click New Entry to select the system classes that are to be transferred from the feed-in point to the respective rooms.

  7. Close the Feed-In Point dialog box with OK.

  8. Repeat the above steps for additional feed-in points in your model, if necessary.

You have connected one or more feed-in points for the MEP spaces in your model to your pipe route and assigned the system classes to the feed points that are to supply the MEP spaces in your model.
