Checklist: Checking the requirements for clients

Checklist to verify the prerequisites for clients in connection with the installation of the network software protection.

Make sure that you have taken into account all the prerequisites for clients mentioned on the Prerequisites for installing software protection page.

Here is a short overview as a checklist:

Microsoft Windows 2003, 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019 Server Operating system
Administrator rights on license server
Current versions of LINEAR Admin, LINEAR Installation Center and the software protection driver (HASP HL device driver) are installed.
Website https://linear-monolicence.herokuapp.com/blacklist/485948944 is accessible from the license server.
Firewall Port 1947 TCP/UDP (incoming and outgoing) enabled on clients, license servers and in the network infrastructure.
Firewall or virus scanner must not hinder or block the communication or execution of our programs.
No use of Apple products or bootloaders.
License server is not a virtual server that is moved by load balancing.
When using Terminal or Citrix systems: A separate, dedicated license server is used. All requirements for a smooth operation were tested and implemented.
