Details on Border Zone

Information on the Border zone area.

The Border zone dialog is used to define during the initial design the more detailed specifications for the border zone to be added.

The area of the border zone can be entered directly in the Area field, calculated with entries in the Length and Depth fields or, if there is a CAD connection, retrieved from the CAD program with F9.

Type

Defines the type of the border zone. The desired hydraulic circuit of the border zone for typical cases can be defined. Post-editing on the manifold is often not required. The following design types are possible.

  • Simple border zone - connection to manifold

The border zone is connected to the manifold as a separate circuit.

  • integrated border zone - in-line

The border zone is connected in series with a occupied zone.

  • integrated border zone - parallel

The border zone is connected parallel with a occupied zone (e.g. in the form of a snail).
