The dialog shows episodes where the target capacity and mass flow are exceeded or not reached and thus facilitates selection of radiators or cooling convectors with the required target capacity.

Element

Description

Dataset

Shows the name and creation date of the selected radiator or cooling convector dataset.

Overview

Shows all available radiators or cooling convectors for the selected model. Click the model name to see all variants of the available radiator heights or radiator lengths in the table.

Apply Radiator type selection

Shows in the table only the construction types that you have activated in the dimensioning options.

Radiator length

Only shows in the table the radiators or cooling convectors with the selected radiator length.

Type

Shows in the table only the radiators with the selected construction type.

Blower level

Only shows in the table the radiators or cooling convectors with the selected blower level.

Show only appropriate radiators/cooling convectors

Shows in the table only the radiators or cooling convectors that meet the selection criteria in the Dimensioning options and do not exceed or fall below the target capacity and mass flow rate.

If no restrictions have been set for the model series in the Dimensioning options, the function filters the radiators or cooling convectors listed in the table according to the capacity to be provided.

Room temperature

Shows the room temperature set for the active room.

Differential temperature of the radiator/cooling convector determined (Target capacity ignored)

If you activate this setting, the radiators or cooling convectors are designed with the return water temperature in the pipe run and the capacity is calculated. This capacity therefore differs from the target capacity, and the return water temperature of the radiator or cooling convector is identical to the return water temperature of the pipe run. In the room view, the checkmark is placed in the Differential temperature field.

If you do not activate this setting, the return water temperature will be calculated according to the desired target capacity. The return water temperature of the radiators or cooling convectors varies, with the capacity of the radiator or cooling convector the same as the target capacity.

Element

Description

RH

Shows the height of the radiator or cooling convector.

RL

Shows the length of the radiator or cooling convector.

RD

Shows the depth of the radiator or cooling convector.

Type

Shows the type name of the radiator or cooling convector.

Blower level

Shows the blower level of the radiator or cooling convector.

Q

Shows the calculated capacity of the radiator or cooling convector. The capacity depends on the set design parameters, for example on the supply and return water temperature or on the maximum differential temperature.

RT

Shows the return water temperature of the radiator or cooling convector. The return water temperature depends on the set design parameters, for example on the supply and return water temperature or on the maximum differential temperature.

m

Shows the calculated mass flow of a radiator or cooling convector. The mass flow depends on the set design parameters, for example on the supply and return water temperature or on the maximum differential temperature.

Lp

Shows the calculated sound pressure level when using fan convectors.

Note:

Depending on the settings in the dimensioning options, the dialog sorts the radiator or cooling convectors in the table by height or length. If the height is varied first, sorting is done according to the length, then according to the height and, always last, according to the depth. The currently selected radiator or cooling convector is marked green. Yellow and red markings indicate exceeding or shortfall of the target capacity and mass flow rate.
