Information on the Connection dialog in the radiator and cooling convector dimensioning.

Name
Shows the manufacturer and the model of the selected radiator or cooling convector.
Pipe connection length
Specifies the length of the feed pipe added for the supply and return water. This length is multiplied by the number of radiators or cooling convectors. If the individual radiators/cooling convectors are not to be given the same connection lengths, enter the radiators or cooling convectors individually in the room view.
Manufacturer
Determines the manufacturer. Manufacturers are only available if corresponding product data sets with suitable pipe systems have been installed and licensed.
Pipe system
Determines the Pipe system.
Connection
Determines the type of connection.
Connecting Set
Determines the connecting set. The connecting set appears in the parts list during the pipe network calculation. Not all pipe systems include connecting sets.
Connection type determined via VDI
If you have used a VDI record for the radiator or cooling convector design, the location of the connection is restricted by the manufacturer and dependent on the connection set selected. However, if you wish to change the location of the connection at will, remove the checkmark for Connection type determined via VDI.
Location of connection
Modifies the location of connection. Click with the left mouse button on a connection to determine the location of a connection. Click with the right mouse button on a connection to determine the location of a connection.
