Installing Software Protection on the Server

You have purchased LINEAR software and would now like to set up network software protection on your license server.

Procedure

Download and install the LINEAR Admin package.
Start the LINEAR Installation Center, check if updates are available and install the updates if necessary.
In case of installed updates, update the software protection driver (HASP HL device driver) via the LINEAR Admin.
Connect the dongle to the server (unless softlock).
Import the .linlic license file.

Results

You have successfully set up the software protection of your license server.
