About Work and Sheet Views

Explains the concept of work and sheet views in connection with the view filter.

As a project progresses, a variety of different views of the model are created. Some of these views are used for sheets, others are not. Views intended for use on sheets are usually created once with all the desired display settings and then only modified slightly - they are basically static.

Work views in contrast are continuously adapted to the respective requirements of the current situation and change in perspective, zoom levels, level of detail etc.

You can mark sheet views as such when you create them. A view is also automatically marked as a sheet view as soon as it is placed on a sheet. Views that have not been marked as sheet views are work views. In the Suitable views section of the project tab, you can filter the list of suitable views by work and sheet views.
