About View Properties

Explains the concept of view properties.

The properties of the active view are displayed in the LINEAR properties window. You can assign a LoG to a view, change the name of the view and control the visibility of interference spaces.

As soon as you activate interference spaces, the desired interference spaces are displayed in the current view for all part families with the corresponding subcategories. Families that have the required subcategories but have not activated them in the type properties are listed in the Activate interference spaces for families dialog. In this dialog you have the possibility to activate the interference spaces for all or selected families in the type properties. If you have enabled Revit RibbonLINEAROptionsView properties the option Automatically activate interference spaces in the families the listing of corresponding families in the Activate interference spaces for Families dialog is omitted.

If component families do not contain interference spaces despite activated subcategories and activated visibility, these spaces might not yet have been generated for this family. With the LoG Assistant tool under Revit RibbonLINEAR you can generate interference spaces and other subcategories for such families.
