Installing Files from the Company Network

Shows step-by-step how to use the LINEAR Installation Center to install software packages, updates or datasets that have been stored in the company network on your computer.

Before you begin

You want to install a download that was downloaded to a drive on the company network on your computer.

Requirements:

The administrator has stored downloads for the installation in a directory in the company network.

Procedure

Start the LINEAR Installation Center.
Select Extras ➤ Settings.
Select Search for installations in the company network.
In the company network, select the download directory from which the download is to be installed on the client.
Click Close and restart the LINEAR Installation Center to apply the changes.
Under Programs or Datasets, select the downloads you would like to install on the client.
Start the installation of by clicking the corresponding button.

The software package, the updates or the datasets are installed.
