Name

Specifies the name of the component. You can modify the name. Clicking restores the default setting.

Calculation

Nominal diameter: You can select either a fixed nominal diameter or dimensioning. After the calculation, the calculated values will be displayed below the field under Current.

Zeta: You can enter an additional pressure loss as zeta value. When calculating according to work sheet G11 of the ÖVGW standard, the Zeta-value will be determined by the program for all components.

Gas shut-off cock: In case a shut-off valve is installed in the immediate vicinity in front of a device (consumer), the particular valve will be detected and automatically activated as a gas shut-off cock during calculation. In case not, you may activate the option manually. The setting will have an effect on the pressure loss calculation and the display of materials in the parts list.

Gas meter cock: In case a shut-off valve is installed in the immediate vicinity in front of a gas meter, the particular valve will be detected and automatically activated as a gas shut-off cock during calculation. In case not, you may activate the option manually. The setting will have an effect on the pressure loss calculation and the display of materials in the parts list.
