Product Data

Explains the concept of Product data in pipe network calculation for Heating, Cooling, Potable water, Waster water and Gas.

The manufacturer you select under Product data is available for the selection of pipe and connection materials.

If you use a manufacturer pipe system, the components available from the manufacturer like T-pieces or transitions with available nominal diameters, are considered during dimensioning of components. The components are output in the parts list showing the article number of the respective manufacturer.

Initially, neutral pipe systems and the entry User-defined is used. After selecting a manufacturer under Product data the pipe systems of this manufacturer are available additionally to the neutral pipe systems in the pipe tables. Connection material of the manufacturer can be assigned via the Components section. Only one manufacturer pipe system per project can be used.

Install an appropriate data set to use manufacturer systems. Manufacturer datasets can be downloaded via the LINEAR Installation Center. Which dimensions are available depends on the selected system.
