Details on Components (Ventilation)

Information about the Components section in duct network calculation.

All settings specified in the section Components are saved in the components and ducts of the project.

Classify <

Opens the Assignment Calculation types dialog after selecting several different components. Here you can assign other calculation types to the selected components. If multiple instances of the same component type are selected, the Classification dialog opens where you can assign a different calculation type to the selected parts.

Duct material ... <

Opens the Technical data for ducts dialog after selecting components, where you can assign a different material to the selected ducts in the Duct material and Insulation area.

Technical data ...<

After selecting a component, this button opens the corresponding component dialog, in which technical data relevant for the calculation for that particular component can be entered.

Settings copy/reset

In this section, you initially use the checkboxes to select the properties you want to be copied or reset. These are pressure losses, sound-, connection and material data. Use the checkbox for all similar elements to decide, whether to consider all components of this type or all ducts when copying or resetting.

Description

Pressure loss data

Enabled: When copying or resetting components, technical data of the component coming from the section Pressure loss calculation are considered.

Sound data

Enabled: When copying or resetting components, technical data of the component coming from the section Sound level are considered.

Connections

Enabled: When copying or resetting components, connection data from the section Product data from the technical data of the component are considered.

Material data

Enabled: When copying or resetting components, duct material and insulation of the duct are considered.

Copy

Copies properties from the technical data dialogs of components if relevant checkboxes are activated.

To do so, you may at first click on the component or the duct from which you intend to copy the data. Transfer the data to a selection or to all components of the same type or to all ducts.

Reset

Resets properties from the technical data dialogs of components if relevant checkboxes are activated. Resetting can be applied to all components or to a selection.

Enabled: When copying or resetting, all components of the same type or all ducts are considered.

Disabled: Select the components or ducts for which you want to copy or reset the technical data.
