Curve data

Explains the concept of curve data for use in calculating pressure losses for air diffusers, silencers, filters, heaters, coolers, and humidifiers/dehumidifiers, among others.

It is not always possible to insert manufacturer ventilation components in Revit and calculate them with the associated component data and different settings. You can use the Curve data to define ventilation components with manufacturer data or user-defined data. You can specify your own data sets with manufacturer names, different model series, nominal sizes, damper positions and pressure loss data. The pressure loss data is additionally displayed as a pressure loss curve. You can then assign this data to the components in order to calculate the pressure loss precisely.

For the manufacturers you create in the dialog, the created data sets are automatically saved in a file with the manufacturer name and the file extension .userarm in the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\LINEAR Software\Solutions xx\CAD\User-Standards\Calculation.
