About Peak Flow Rate and Simultaneity

Explains the concept of peak flow rate and simultaneity in the calculation dialog potable water.

The peak flow rate is calculated for each section part individually based on the calculation flow rate and the selected building type from the Settings dialog. You can either set the building type for all section parts in the Settings or select it individually for each section part in the Peak flow rate dialog.

Note: Simultaneities resulting from the assignment of Usage units always have priority within that Usage unit. The assigned simultaneity form the building type Special building then is without effect.

Dialog peak flow rate and simultaneity

The dialog always shows the data of the selected section part. In the original state of the drawing, the building type is taken from the Settings for all section parts. You can change the building type for individual section parts.

If you select the building type Special building, you can enter a custom simultaneity percentage.
