Selecting Location Data

Shows step-by-step how to select location data for your project.

Before you begin

You want to set the correct climate data for your project for the cooling load calculation according to the short procedure by selecting a location.

Navigate to:

Module overview ➤ Cooling load short procedure ➤ Project level ➤ Cooling load zone ➤ Location selection...

Procedure

Click Location....

The Location dialog opens.
Select the desired dataset from the drop-down list.
Enter the name of the project site in the search field and start the search by pressing Enter.

If the location you are looking for is in the list of locations, it will be highlighted there.
Optional: If your project location is not listed, select the nearest location from the list, or create a user-defined location.
Confirm your selection by clicking OK.

Results

The desired location is selected and its climate data is used for the calculation.
