Transferring View Properties

Shows step-by-step how to transfer settings from the current view to other views of your project.

Before you begin

You want to transfer the view settings of one of your views to other views.

Requirements:

Your project contains at least two views.

Navigate to:

Revit RibbonLINEAR tab LINEAR

Procedure

  1. Activate the view whose settings you want to transfer.
  2. Click Transfer view properties.

    The Transfer view properties dialog opens.

  3. If necessary, filter the available views:
    1. Activate the Building part checkbox and select the desired building part from the drop-down list.
    2. Activate the Storey checkbox and select the desired storey from the drop-down list.
    3. Activate the Discipline checkbox and select the desired discipline from the drop-down list.
  4. Activate Visibility Settings if you want to transfer settings for visibility, graphics, or filters.
  5. Activate Additional properties if you want to transfer additional view parameters from the Revit Properties dialog.
  6. Activate all views to which you want to transfer the properties of the current view and click Transfer.

Results

The selected properties are transferred to the selected views.
