Calculation Data

Heat Capacity: Enter the capacity with which this particular component is to be considered during calculation or that is to be reached when dimensioning, respectively.

Mass Flow Rate: Instead of heat capacity, you can enter the mass flow rate. The heat capacity is automatically calculated using the supply/return temperature set.

Zeta Value, Pressure Loss: The Zeta value also indicates the pressure loss coefficient. Valves are not included in this value. Alternatively, you can enter the absolute pressure loss of this component. Activate the desired value.

Water Volume: The water volume is required to calculate the system volume and to dimension the membrane expansion vessel and is necessary for the pipe network calculation.

Number of Heating Circuits: If you use the general heat consumer to simulate a floor heating manifold with connected heating circuits, the number of connected circuits is defined here.

Dynamic Control Valve included

If you use the general heat consumer to simulate a radiant heating manifold with connected heating circuits, the manifold may already contain a dynamic regulating valve. If the manifold contains a dynamic regulating valve, it is not necessary to install a pipe regulating valve upstream of the manifold and the additional pressure losses from the network are added to the manifold.
