In the Valves dialog, select the valve model series to be used in the pipe network calculation. Data from different manufacturers are available for this purpose.
Assignment of valve data is done automatically by preselection in the Valves dialog or by explicit local assignmentvia the technical data of the individual components. If model series have been selected in the valve preselection for a calculation type and, if applicable, for a class, the program searches the model series until a suitable valve is found and automatically selects it. By prioritizing the individual model series, you can specify the order in which they are searched.
Valve model series added to the valve preselection are saved in the project along with their technical data until they are removed from the preselection. Once a valve model series is removed from preselection, it is no longer used for the corresponding components in the calculation.
Install an appropriate data set to use the data from manufacturer systems. Manufacturer data sets can be downloaded via the LINEAR Installation Center.
