Details on Assignment Calculation Types
Information on the Assignment Calculation type dialog in Pipe and Air Duct Network Calculation.
Assign the suitable calculation type to the family types, in order for them to perform the desired function during calculation.

Component
This column shows all family types in the selection. Different types of one and the same family are listed individually and can be classified separately.
Number
Number of selected instances of the particular family type.
Classify as
Determines the function of the component family type in the pipe or duct network calculation. A classification for the corresponding family type is saved in the corresponding family and in a local user file when the dialog is closed by clicking OK.
Opens the Classification dialog where you can assign a calculation type (= component type) to the component family type with default values for the technical data used to calculate the component.
Show element(s)
If you are not sure which component family is meant, mark the corresponding line and click Show element(s). The components are shown in the project. Finish the process by Esc.
Load proposals
If your model contains components that you have already classified in the past, the classifications can be loaded by clicking this button. When closing the dialog by clicking OK, all classifications are saved as described.
