Configuring Nominal-Air Heat Load

Shows step-by-step how to set the nominal-air heat load at room level.

Before you begin

You would like to set the nominal-air heat load for the rooms in your project.

Navigate to:

Module overview ➤ Heat load ➤ Room level ➤ Nominal-Air heat load

Procedure

  1. Under Beta-min, enter the minimum volume flow rate for the minimum hygienic air exchange.

    The default value for residential buildings is 3 m3/(m2h).

  2. Activate the Infiltration option if it is to be included in the determination of the nominal-air heat load.
  3. Activate the Air change option and enter the hourly air change if an hourly air change has been agreed.

    The Mechanical ventilation option is deactivated.

  4. Activate the Mechanical ventilation option if mechanical ventilation is intended in this room.

    The Air change option is deactivated.

  5. Enter the supply and exhaust air volume flow rate with the corresponding temperature in each case.

Results

The highest load of the activated ventilation types is entered in the Q-Ventilation field, and is used for further calculation.
