Selecting the Calculation and Stabilization Procedure

Shows step-by-step how to select the calculation and stabilization procedure for your project.

Before you begin

At the outset, you want to set the procedure both for calculating and for stabilizing the cooling load.

Navigate to:

Module overview ➤ Dynamic cooling load ➤ Project level ➤ Settings ➤ Method

Procedure

From the Cooling load calculation selection procedure dropdown list, select the desired calculation procedure.
From the Stabilizing the cooling load calculation dropdown list, select the desired stabilization procedure.

Important:
In the calculation procedure according to ASHRAE, only periodic stabilization with CDD is used.
For Aperiodic stabilization with CDP, change the number of working days.

Results

The calculation and stabilization procedure is set and will be used for calculating the cooling load.
