About General Heat Load Data

Explains the concept of general heat load data in the context of heat load calculations.

In the General heat load data section you enter basic settings for calculating the approximate heat load. All settings made here are valid for your entire project.

If necessary, you start with the selection of the calculation basis Approximate heat load <Quick entry> (2003) and the entries in the Quick entry section. Then, in the Location/climate data for: (...) define the location of your building.

If the supplied location and climate data does not meet the requirements of your project or if there is no data for the project location, you can edit the supplied data or create your own dataset with location and climate data, e.g. for a country or a region. Finally, you can specify whether inside room temperatures should be overwritten according to the standard.
