About Program and Data Set Licenses

Explains the concept of the Program licenses or Data set licenses dialog.

The Program licenses or Data set licenses dialog lists all modules or all dataset modules of the LINEAR Solutions software family. You have the possibility to define which licensed modules are automatically loaded at program start and you may activate and deactivate licensed modules for your workstation. Deactivated modules are available to other users in the same network with a network license. If modules do not currently have a license, this will be indicated. Furthermore, you can import license files in the dialogs.

Note: The descriptions on the following pages refer to the network dongle. The setting of local dongles is done during installation.
