The selection influences the determination of the volume flow factor for the calculation of the infiltration volume flows.

The settings of the shielding class are considered for the heat load calculation according to DS 418 only in connection with the natural ventilation option from the Ventilation section. Depending on the selected shielding class, the value spec. volume flow through joints is calculated differently at room level.
