The ventilation concepts available for a ventilation zone are free ventilation and ventilator-based ventilation, as well as combined systems. Free ventilation takes place as cross ventilation or via a shaft. With ventilator-based ventilation systems, you can choose between extract air, supply air, and supply and extract air systems. You can also combine free ventilation with ventilator-based ventilation. The ventilation for windowless extract air rooms (exception: windowless kitchens) is planned and executed according to the specifications of DIN 18017-3.
A ventilation concept can be assigned to all levels of the building structure defined as ventilation zones. Once the ventilation concept has been selected, the required ventilation components and all air flows relevant to a room are entered in the room overview. For rooms that are vented according to DIN 18017-3, you can adjust the category for the respective room differently from the zone setting.
