Details on Technical Data for Pump Houses with Manifolds
Information on the component data dialog for pump houses with manifolds in the Rohrnetzberechnung Quartiersnetze.
In this dialog, on the first tab, you define the component data with which the component is considered in the Rohrnetzberechnung Quartiersnetze . On the second tab, you define the prioritization for the component's article sets.
You are here

Name
In this field you can enter an individual name for the component. Clicking on
restores the original name and overwrites the previous entry.
Settings tab
On this tab, you define all values relevant to the calculation for the component.
Zeta Inlet, Zeta Outlet
You can use these two input fields to adjust the resistance coefficients for the inlets and outlets of the component in order to map the pressure loss of the entire component. The default values are 1 for the inlet and 0.5 for the outlet.
Volume
Defines the capacity of the component in liters. This value is used, among other things, to calculate the system volume.
Surcharge to Mass Flow Rate
Enables the definition of a percentage mass flow surcharge. This increases the mass flow on the primary side in order to ensure a sufficient supply for the secondary side. Mass flow surcharges can lead to a temperature increase in the connected flow and return pipes of the primary circuit and to larger required minimum cross-sections of the component.
Design Velocity
Defines the Design Velocity for calculating the required minimum cross-section.
Calculate
The component contains an integrated pump. You can have the pump's capacity calculated or set the pump pressure manually.
Enabled: The pump's capacity is calculated and displayed in the field to the right of the checkbox.
Disabled: You can specify the pump's capacity in the input field to the right of the checkbox. Manually entered values are displayed in bold. Clicking
resets manually entered values to the calculated pump pressure.
Material tab

On the second tab, you define the local prioritization for the component's article sets. Any global settings defined in the corresponding Priorities (…) dialogs for building connections in the Connection Sets column of the Pipes and Connection Sets dialog may be overridden for this component.
Prioritizing for: Determines whether connection sets are defined for the Primary side or Secondary side.
Connection Type: Determines how the trenches are routed into the building and controls the selection options available under Option 1.
Option 1, Option 2, Option 3: Drop-down lists for defining the connection sets offered in the table. By selecting from the lists, you determine which entries are available in the subordinate list.
Additional Connection: Specifies the length of the additional connection pipes that are required in addition to the pipes shown in the drawing to connect the pump house to the manifold. Additional pipes are also part of the considered bill of materials.
Connection Sets: Table for prioritizing individual sets of items. Select a row, then use the
and
buttons to adjust the order for prioritizing the item sets.
Reset: Resets the order to the one specified in the corresponding Priorities (…) dialog for building connections, which is defined via the Pipes and Connection Sets dialog.
