Details on Technical Data for Nodes

Information about the Component Data Dialog for Nodes in the Rohrnetzberechnung Quartiersnetze.

Nodes refer to pairs of T-pieces that connect the flow and return pipes.

Note: To open the component data dialog for nodes, the district network must be defined, as the associated Tees must be identified and the orientation of the node must be determined.

In the dialog, you specify the node's placement type and configure the local prioritization for the node's item sets. Any global settings defined in the corresponding Priorities (…), dialogs for nodes in the Item Sets column of the Pipes and Item Sets dialog will be overridden for that node if necessary.

Determined Orientation

Displays the calculated orientation for the node. The orientation indicates the direction in which the branch extends from the perspective of the inlet of the Tee. The inlet is the connection with the largest nominal diameter.

For the installation method Level Trench, the orientation affects the items listed in the Connection Set table.

Connection Set Table

Connection Set: Table for prioritizing individual sets of connections. Select a row, then use the and buttons to adjust the order for prioritizing the connection sets.

Reset: Resets the order to the one specified in the corresponding Priorities (…) dialog for nodes. You define the order of the Priorities (…) dialog for nodes using the Pipes and Connection Sets dialog.
