Individual Insertion Points

Shows step-by-step how to add individual elevation points to your drawing.

Before you begin

You want to add individual elevation points to your drawing.

Requirements

  • The location is already defined in the drawing.
  • Elevation data is already inserted in the drawing.

Navigate to

Project-TabDiscipline District NetworksLabeling and Output" tabCommand group "Label Objects"

Procedure

  1. If necessary, open the section Elevation Points.
    Opened area Elevation Points
  2. Enter the Basic Height.
  3. Optional: Click Folder Symbol and select a *.DWG file for the rendering of elevation points in the drawing in the file explorer that appears.
  4. Select the Individual Points option as the Insertion Method .
  5. Click on Insert Elevation Points ....
  6. Click on the points in the drawing where elevation points are to be added and then confirm your selection with Enter.
    Elevation points are inserted into the drawing at the selected points.

Results

You have added individual elevation points to your drawing.

What to do next

Label the elevation points with the Label Objects < function if necessary.
