Adding Elevation Points to District Networks

Explains the concept of adding elevation points in district networks.

Once you have added a location and elevation data to your drawing, you can add elevation points to the pipes of the district network. Depending on the selected insertion method, the elevation points are either drawn directly on the pipes or they are placed after a new calculation. If you need additional points for specific trench segments or other areas of the drawing, you can define both individual points and elevation point areas using elevation point grids. The density of the height points in the areas is variable and can thus be adapted to the respective application.

By specifying the Base Height, you define the insertion height of the elevation points relative to the sea level.

If required, you can customize the rendering of the elevation points in the drawing by specifying a different or your own .DWG file..

You can use the Label Objects < function to add labels to the elevation points.
