Laying out Ventilation Components

Shows step-by-step how to lay out ventilation components for your project.

  1. Click on Lay out all rooms!.

    The dialog Central Unit Selection for Building/Ventilation Zone opens. If you have activated the option One Ventilation Unit for the Entire Project in the General Settings dialog, select a central unit for the entire project here. If this option is disabled, select the central device for the first ventilation zone.

  2. Select a ventilation unit from the Central Unit drop-down list that matches the total target volume flow determined.

  3. In the area Operation / Control, specify which control components to use for the selected ventilation unit.

  4. Click on Set Outdoor Air/Exhaust Air.

  5. Make the necessary settings for outside air and exhaust air in the subsequent dialog. Close the dialog with the settings for outside air and exhaust air by clicking OK.

  6. If you want to perform the layout per ventilation zone and assign identical settings to all ventilation units, select the option Apply selection to all subsequent ventilation units.

  7. Close the dialog with a click on OK.

The ventilation system is designed according to the requirements from the ventilation concept with the settings made. The air volume plan gives you an overview of the ventilation system and you can make further settings.
