Configuring Different IP Circles (Server/Client)

Shows step-by-step what settings you need to make in the Admin Control Center (ACC) if your license server and clients are in different IP circuits.

  1. Start LINEAR Admin on the clients.

  2. On the Hasp Tools tab, click Control Center to connect to the ACC.

  3. Click the Configuration option in the Navigation bar and go to the Access to Remote License Managers tab.

  4. Uncheck the Broadcast Search for Remote Licenses option and enter the IP address of your server under Remote License Search Parameters.

  5. Click Submit to apply the settings.

The IP address of the dongle server is stored in the ACCs of the clients and the dongle can now be found by the clients.
