Sharing Files on the Company Network

Shows step-by-step how to use the LINEAR Installation Center to download software packages, updates, datasets or sample projects from the LINEAR server and deploy them in your company network.

  1. Start the LINEAR Installation Center.

  2. Select Extras ➤ Settings.

  3. Activate Deploy installations in the company network (administrator mode).

  4. Determine the download directory by clicking , select the directory and confirm with OK.

  5. Close the dialog.

  6. Click Close and restart the LINEAR Installation Center to apply the changes.

  7. Under Programs or Datasets, select the downloads you want to deploy to the company network.

  8. Start the download by clicking the corresponding button.

the installation files for the software packages, updates, datasets or sample projects have been downloaded to the company network and can now be installed on the clients.
