Details on "Create Nominal Diameter"/"Change Nominal Diameter"

In these dialogs, you define or modify the nominal diameters for model series of a manufacturer during data set entry. The dialogs differ in the available options depending on the current discipline.

Create Nominal Diameter dialog in the Ventilation discipline when selecting rectangular as the Connection Geometry.

Create Nominal Diameter dialog in the discipline Heating, Potable Water, Cooling and District Networks and Ventilation when selecting round as the Connection Geometry.

Nominal diameters for round model series.

kvs, Zeta

Specify either the flow coefficient in the open state or the pressure loss in the form of a Zeta value.

Item Number

Item number of the nominal diameter to be entered manually. The item number is displayed in the Curve Data dialog when the nominal diameter is selected.

Connection Types

Opens the Connection Types dialog, in which you can specify the connection types of the component connections so that suitable connections for the selected Pipe system can also be output in the bill of materials. The prerequisite for output of the additional connections is that the data set of the selected pipe system contains the corresponding connecting components.
