Details on "Create Model Series"/"Change Model Series"

In these dialogs, you define or modify the model series of a manufacturer during data set entry. The dialogs differ in the available options depending on the current discipline.

Common Settings for All Disciplines

Name field

Enter a name for the Model series in this field. The name is displayed in the parts list when the model series is used.

Settings in the Ventilation Discipline

Connection Geometry

Select round or rectangular for the connection geometry of the component.

Duct Component

Drop-down list for selecting the component type. Specify whether you want to create an external grille or a built-in part, for example.

with Damper Positions

Select this option to define and select settings in the Curve Data dialog under Damper Positions.

Interpolate betw. Damper Positions

Select this option to interpolate the Damper Positions during the calculation and display them accordingly in the curve graph.

Valve type

Drop-down list for selecting the valve type of this model series. Depending on the selection in this cell, the custom valve is shown in the corresponding list in the Select Valve Series dialog.
