Connecting Components (Heating)

Before you begin

Some components in the discipline Heating are treated in pairs in pipe network calculations and must be connected to the appropriate partner component (e.g., balancing valves with shut-off valves, differential pressure controllers with differential pressure transmitters, or three-way valves with T-pieces).

Navigate to

Project Tab ➤ Heating Discipline ➤ Analyse Tab

Procedure

Open the Components section.
Click Connect Components <.
Select two components one after the other that are to be connected to each other.

If you want to connect two further components, select them one after another.
Finish the process by Esc.

Results

The components are linked to each other and will be correctly detected and calculated in the pipe network calculation.
