About Curve Data
Explains the concept of curve data for use in the calculation of pressure losses for duct components and valves.
It is not always possible to insert manufacturer ventilation components in Revit and calculate them with the associated component data and different settings. You can use the Curve Data to define duct components or valves with manufacturer data or custom data. You can create your own data sets with manufacturer names, different model series, nominal diameters, damper positions and pressure loss data. You can also define the connection types of the individual component connections so that any suitable connections are also output in the bill of materials. You can then assign the user-defined data sets selectively or globally to suitable components.
For the manufacturers you have created, the generated data sets are automatically saved in a file named after the manufacturer with the file extension .userarm in the directory ..\ProgramData\LINEAR GmbH\Solutions xx\CAD\User-Standards\Calculation.
