Create Energy Hub with Several Outlets

Provides step-by-step instructions on how to group multiple energy sources with or without pumps in the District Networks module in order to model an energy hub with multiple outlets and include it in the calculation.

Before you begin

You want to group multiple energy sources, with or without pumps, to represent an enegery hub with multiple outputs and include them in the calculation.

Requirements

The energy sources to be grouped are already in the drawing.

Procedure

  1. If necessary, open the LINEAR Properties by clicking on in the footer of the LINEAR control board.

    The LINEAR Properties open.

  2. In the drawing, select all the energy sources that you want to group together.
The component parameters of the selected energy sources are displayed in the LINEAR Properties .
  3. Enter the name for the energy hub in the Energy Hub property in the District Networks - Calculation Settings area of the LINEAR Properties .
  4. Optionally, enter the name of the pump group in the Pump Group property to group the pumps of the energy sources as well.

Results

You have created an energy hub with several outlets, which will be taken into account in the next calculation. Each energy source now represents an outgoing circuit of the energy hub, for which a separate system is created in the calculation.
