Details on “Pipe Tables"
Information on the Pipe Tables dialog at Rohrnetzberechnung Quartiersnetze.
In this dialog, you select the pipe systems for the material combinations of the Pipes and Connection Sets dialog. You will find suitable pipe systems from all installed manufacturers as well as neutral systems under the Custom manufacturer. If required, you can deactivate certain nominal diameters for calculation and sizing.
You are here:

Manufacturer
Drop-down list for selecting the manufacturer. The manufacturer Custom contains neutral pipe systems that can be adjusted and expanded. The input is automatically saved in an external file.
System
Selection of all systems contained in the selected manufacturer data set or in Custom.
Table of System Variants
In the upper table, the system versions of the selected pipe system are displayed for selection if the system contains different versions. The systems under Custom are expandable. To create a new system, click into a free row the table.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The name of the pipe system is used for labeling and in bills of materials. |
| Code | The abbreviation of pipe system names is used for labeling. |
| Roughness | The rougness of the pipe material is used to calculate pressure losses. |
<< Details, Details >>
Shows or hides the lower dimension table.
Default
Configures the standard material of the corresponding discipline, if this is not already selected.
Table of Dimensions
All available dimensions of the selected system or system variant are displayed in the table below. By deactivating certain dimensions, you specify that these dimensions are not considered during calculation and sizing.
The dimensions under Custom are expandable. To create a new dimension, click in an empty row of the table. Dimensions are automatically sorted by size.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Active | Only activated dimensions are considered during calculation. By deactivating the field, you can specifically exclude certain dimensions from calculation and sizing. The deactivated dimensions are still available for manual selection in the calculation dialog in the Trench Sections area. |
| DN Pipe | Indicates or defines the available nominal diameters of the pipe system. |
| Ø Interior | Indicates or defines the inner diameter of the nominal diameter. |
| Ø Exterior | Indicates or defines the outer diameter of the nominal diameter. |
| DN Valves | Indicates or defines the connection size of built-in fittings. |
| Max. Nominal Pressure | Indicates or sets the maximum nominal pressure of the nominal diameter. |
| Min. Velocity | Indicates or sets the minimum flow velocity for the nominal diameter. If this value is not met, the next smaller nominal diameter is used in the sizing. |
| Max. Velocity | Indicates or sets the maximum flow velocity for the nominal diameter. If this limit is exceeded, the next larger nominal diameter is used in the sizing. |
| Dimension Name | Displays or sets the nominal diameter. The name of the dimension is used for labeling and in bills of materials. |
| Insulation Level | Indicates or sets the insulation level. |
| Ø Exterior with Insulation | Indicates or defines the outer diameter including insulation. |
| U-value | Indicates or sets the U-value. |
