Details on "Schools" (Project Level)
Information on the Schools section in LINEAR Building.
In this area, all rooms to which the calculation method VDI 6040 Schools (09-2015) is assigned are listed with their configurations for overview and editing. The configurations of the rooms can be edited roomwise and across rooms by using the column et. The assignment of the usage profiles of the rooms can only be carried out at project level and not in the room views.

Room Settings
This table shows all rooms to which the calculation method VDI 6040-7 Schools (09-2015) is assigned and allows you to edit the room settings.
By clicking 
you have the possibility to copy the contents of the table with or without column heading and paste it into Excel.
If you have selected individual rows or cells, you can copy the selected data with the key combinations Ctrl+C (with column heading) or Ctrl+Shift+C (without column heading) and paste it into Excel, for example.

| et | Defines which rooms are edited together. Tick the rows of the rooms that you want to edit together and then change the desired parameters for one of the rooms. Clicking on the column header et activates or deactivates all rows. |
| Location | Shows the name and location of the room in the Building Structure. You can change the name if required. |
| Room Area | Displays the area of the room defined by the internal dimensions. |
| Room Volume | Displays the volume of the room defined by the internal dimensions. |
| Room Utilization | Determines the room usage type of the rooms according to VDI 6040. The type of room use influences the person-related carbon dioxide volume flow rate. If necessary, click on |
| Year Level (Grade) | Specifies grades that use the room. The selection of year groups influences the personal carbon dioxide volume flow. If necessary, click on |
| Usage Profile | Defines the usage profile system of the room. Click on  to select the desired usage profile in the menu that appears or to open the dialog for managing the usage profiles, which is also where the profiles are created. |
| CO2_outside | Specifies the carbon dioxide concentration of in the outside air. The default value is set to the value of 400 ppm from the guideline. Adjusted values are displayed in bold. Remove adjusted values to restore the proposed value. |
| CO2_Start | Specifies the carbon dioxide concentration in the room at the start of the observation period. |
| V_tot | Displays the required total volume flow rate of the room. This value is transferred to the Air Volumes area as the result of the air volume determination. |
