Details on "Usage Profiles"
Information on the dialog Wash Ware of the calculation method VDI 6040-1 Kitchens (09-2015) for determining the required air volumes for rooms in non-residential buildings.
In this dialog, define the usage profiles, which can subsequently be assigned to rooms at the project level of the calculation method for the air volume determination.

Usage Profile
Drop-down list to select the usage profile to be edited. All usage profiles already created in the project are offered for selection. Click on to open a menu with the following options for the creation and editing of usage profiles:
- Add: Opens the dialog Name of new Usage Profile, in which you can enter a name for the new profile. Subsequently, the new profile for the definitions of the individual time intervals opens.
- Duplicate: Creates a copy of the currently selected usage profile. The copy receives the designation of the copied profile with the addition (Copy) and is opened for processing.
- Delete: Deletes the currently selected usage profile.
- Rename: Opens the dialog New Name of Usage Profile, in which you can adjust the name of the currently selected usage profile.
Table of Time Intervals
In this table, define the daily schedule of the usage profile by defining the individual lessons and breaks as time intervals. For each time interval, the number of people present in the room during the interval must be determined, and if necessary, the duration of the interval needs to be adjusted.
Click in an empty row of the table or use the F5 key, and then select the desired occupancy type from the appearing menu to add a row to the table for the definition of the time interval. If you are in the bottom row of the table, you can also use the ⬇ key to add rows. With F6 or the Delete key, selected rows can be removed from the table.
By clicking you have the possibility to copy the contents of the table with or without column heading and paste it into Excel.
If you have selected individual rows or cells, you can copy the selected data with the key combinations Ctrl+C (with column heading) or Ctrl+Shift+C (without column heading) and paste it into Excel, for example.
