Configuring Occupancy according to Standard Occupancy

Shows step-by-step how to configure the number of people for supply air rooms according to standard occupancy.

Before you begin

You want to define a standard occupancy for determining outdoor air volume flow rates based on the number of people.

Requirements:

All rooms have the correct room type.

Navigate to:

Ribbon ➤ Configuration ➤ Domestic Ventilation

Procedure

In the Supply air volume flow (Mechanical) area, select the Standard occupancy entry from the drop-down list.
Click on Standard occupancy.
The Standard occupancy dialog opens.
Enter the number of people expected for the Bedroom, Children’s room and Guest room and close the dialog by clicking OK.

Note: You can manually adjust the number of people per room at ventilation zone level. Manual entries have priority over automatic assignment.

Results

The default occupancy is defined and is automatically applied to all relevant rooms.
