Details on Technical Data for House Service Connection

Information about the dialog for technical data for the house service connection.

The house water station or the main water meter is the default partial network start. Here, you enter either the supply pressure of the drilling and tapping clamp or the minimum pressure at the water meter, depending on the value you receive by your water distribution company.

The pressure losses in the house connection pipe and in the water meter are deducted from the minimum pressure at the tapping clamp. The given values can be adjusted.

The minimum pressure at the water meter will be considered for the calculation without reduction.

Minimum supply pressure of Water distribution company (WDC)

Minimum pressure Drilling and tapping clamp: Enter the value in hPa given by water suppliers. Thereof, the pressure loss at the house service connection and the pressure loss of the water meter will be subtracted, the rest is used for the calculation of the pipe network. The maximum permitted pressure loss at the House service connection is predefined according to DIN 1988-300 with 200 hPa, the one of the Water meter is predefined with 650 hPa.

Minimum pressure Water meter: The pressure behind the Water meter is indicated here. The value you specify here is used without any deductions for the calculation of the pipe network.

Settings

Either select the Zeta value option and enter this value, or select the Pressure loss option and enter the absolute value in hPa.

System name

For the sake of better differentiation when there are several systems, you may enter a name. This name will be displayed in the calculation dialog when selecting a system. When printing, the systems will be available for selection.
