About Curve Data

Explains the concept of curve data for use in the calculation of pressure losses for duct components or valves.

It is not always possible to insert manufacturer components in AutoCAD and calculate them with the associated component data and different settings. You can use the Curve data to define duct components or valves with manufacturer data or user-defined data. You can specify your own data sets with manufacturer names, different model series, nominal sizes, damper positions and pressure loss data. The pressure loss data is additionally displayed as a pressure loss curve. You can then assign the user-defined data sets selectively or globally to suitable components.

For the manufacturers you create in the dialog, the created data sets are automatically saved in a file with the manufacturer name and the file extension .userarm in the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\LINEAR Software\Solutions xx\CAD\User-Standards\Calculation.
