Creating a 3D Section Area

Before you begin

You want to create a 3D section area.

Requirement:

You are in a floor plan view, an area or ceiling plan, or a 3D, building, or section view.

Navigate to

Footer of the LINEAR Control Board

Project tab of the LINEAR Control Board in Revit

Procedure

Click on 3D Section Area.
Use a selection frame to select the elements that you want to show in the 3D section.
Confirm your selection with Enter.

Results

The selecterd elements are displayed in a 3D view within a Selection box.
