Details on "Lock/Unlock Pipe Sections"
Information about the dialog Lock/Unlock Pipe/Duct Sections in the Pipe Network Calculation Waste Water.
In this dialog, you can lock and unlock certain parameters of pipe/duct sections for the calculation, e.g. the modeled dimensions of the pipe network.
If you use the modeled dimensions of the pipe network for the calculation, the dimensions of the sections are locked after the calculation and are not changed by the dimensioning. If you do not apply the modeled dimensions in the calculation, the dimensions of the sections are optimized for the given design criteria.
If you have adjusted pipe/duct section lengths, you can use this function to restore the modeled lengths for different parts of the network or for the entire network.
Depending on the selected discipline, you can lock and unlock additional parameters in the dialog, such as the design type or specific limit values.

Area
Drop-down list for selecting the area for which the selected parameters are to be locked or unlocked.
Lock
Locks the active parameters for the selected range.
Unlock
Resets the active parameters for the selected range. If you unlock a dimension or parameter, the specifications for the dimensioning from the Settings are used.
