Element

Description

Manufacturer

Drop-down list for selecting the manufacturer. The manufacturer defines the connection type, the pipe system and the connection set.

Section for defining the connection orientation

Position of Connection

The connection position can be changed and then might make different connectors necessary. Left-click to set the connection position for the flow, and right-click to set it for the return.

Radiator Connection

Select a connecting type for the radiator. The type of rigid connection is determined by the connection set.

Pipe System

Note: Only change the pipe system after careful consideration to ensure the compatibility of the connecting set with the material of the pipe network.

Drop-down list for selecting the pipe system with the desired connection set. All pipe systems contained in the manufacturer data set that you selected under Manufacturer are available for selection here. All manufacturers whose data sets match the discipline are available.

Connecting Set

Select a connecting set.

Termination Set

Enabled: Bends are output in the parts list for the connection to the connecting pipe.

Disabled: T-pieces are output in the parts list for the connection to the connecting pipe.

Set contains fittings

Enabled: The connection set contains fittings that cannot be drawn or designed, such as certain connection elbows or fittings in the network scheme. The number of fittings for the parts list corresponds to the number of fittings determined from the designed pipe network and the fittings that are added from the connection set.

Disabled: The number of fittings in the parts list is determined from the model.

Get <

If you have already assigned a connection to a radiator, this function allows you to view the connection of that radiator in this dialog. Subsequently, you can assign this connection to other radiators using the function Assign <.

Assign <

Minimizes the dialog and expects a selection of radiators in the model that should have the selected connection.
