Setting a Fluid

Shows step by step how to set the fluid for the calculation.

Before you begin

You want to adjust the fluid for the calculation or select a different medium.

Navigate to

Project-Tab ➤ Disciplines ... ➤ Discipline ➤ Analyse tab ➤ Command group Analyse ➤ Settings ... ➤ Calculation Parameters tab (District Networks)

Applies to: Heating, Cooling, District Networks.

Procedure

Click on Fluid ...

Tip: In the District Networks discipline, the Fluid ... button is located on the Calculation Parameters tab.

The dialog Fluid opens.
You can either
- edit the current fluid by clicking in one of the fields, or
- select another fluid after clicking on Load.
After making adjustments or uploading a fluid, click Save to make the changes available in an external file for collaboration purposes.

Results

The medium is set and will be used for all future calculations.
