About the Overview Areas of the Building Structure Levels

Explains the concept of the overview areas of the various levels of the building structure in radiator and cooling convector dimensioning.

At the project, building section, storey and apartment or area level of the building structure, overview areas are available to you in the radiator and cooling convector dimensioning, in which all rooms of the level are listed with their windows. In these areas, you can carry out both convenient quick dimensioning of all rooms selected for the dimensioning and manual selective dimensioning.

In the case of quick layouts, radiators or cooling convectors are automatically assigned to the external windows of the rooms, provided that target outputs exist for rooms and a radiator or cooling convector model series is in the system preselection. The radiators or cooling convectors automatically dimensioned by the program can then be further detailed or certain radiators or cooling convectors can be removed if required.

When carrying out a manual selective dimensioning, you can either dimension entire rooms or selectively assign radiators or cooling convectors to individual windows.

If necessary, you can hide windows without radiators or cooling convectors and thus reduce the overviews to the essential.

In the table of rooms, windows and the radiators or cooling convectors assigned to them, fields marked in red indicate that a value determined during the design, such as the target output or mass flow, is not sufficient or limit values are exceeded. Based on these messages, you can then adjust the dimensioning settings and carry out the dimensioning again.

To prevent radiators or cooling convectors from being placed under previously excluded windows during a new design, you can restrict designs to existing radiators or cooling convectors.

You can also create new rooms in the overviews.
