Copying a Pipe Run

Shows step-by-step how to copy a pipe run including symbols and pipes.

Before you begin

You want to copy a pipe run of your pipe run diagram with all the corresponding symbols and pipes.

Navigate to:

Project Tab ➤ Discipline ➤ Planning Type 2D Scheme Planning ➤ Create Tab ➤ Storeys and Generators ➤ Scheme Generator, Heating/Potable Water/Waste Water/Gas ...

Procedure

Do a right-click on a pipe run button.

The following context menu opens.
Select the menu item Copy pipe run....
The Copy pipe run dialog opens.
Select the pipe run to be copied under Source and the pipe run in which the copy is to be inserted under Target.

Note: When an existing pipe run is selected as the Target, any existing contents of the existing pipe run will be overwritten during the copy process.
Optional: Specify the Number of copies.
Click Copy .

Results

A copy of the pipe run with its symbols and pipes has been created.
